Genesis Future Summit is very interested in engaging volunteers for the Calgary-based event scheduled
for May 3-4, 2019.
A Summit of this size requires a group of motivated, enthusiastic and professional individuals to assist
with a variety of on-site duties. Volunteers are the face of Genesis Future Summit and as such
expectations are high.
Scheduling volunteers for the Genesis Future Summit requires considerable planning and cooperation;
your willingness to help make this year’s event a huge success, by honouring your shifts, showing up on
time and staying until the job is done is so important. It is very beneficial for you to become
knowledgeable on various aspects of the Summit such as the layout of the venue, general event
information, event mobile app and program details. You will be required to attend one mandatory
orientation session (location and date to be confirmed).

What are the benefits of volunteering for Genesis Future Summit?
As a volunteer, we are asking you to donate a minimum of 15 hours of volunteer service and in exchange
Free attendance for one day of the conference that you are not volunteering for – value of $433

Depending on volunteer position you may have the opportunity to listen to some of the lectures on
your volunteer day(s) if the assigned duties permit.
Registration & Information Booth Attendants: Volunteers will assist with helping pre-
registered attendees pick-up their conference related material such as name badge, program book,
swag bag and any other conference related materials. Assist the Registration Manager with any
other coordination registration and information requirements as required.
Guest Speaker Assistants: Attend to all logistical / administrative requirements of the guest
Ushers & Floaters: Checking/scanning badges at entry doors, and assist with various event duties
